Are you sure that's a basking shark? The snout doesn't look long enough and it skin seems to light.

Yup, pretty sure!
Plus, I don't really see an alternative!

Proportions are always difficult to judge on a wide-angle shot and the iris is set on auto thus at times over-exposing the skin tones.

Def a Basking shark. The huge gill slits and the size of the shark itself... no doubt.
Also note the distance of the dorsal fin in relation to the pectorals.

Is there any info of were and when?

What's on Shark Year Magazine is all I know, the video was uploaded by somebody in Russia (I think).
