Pregnant GWS in New Zealand - shocking Footage!


This is repugnant.

It breaks my heart, and I'm really at a loss for words.
This was in 1991 and I can only hope that nowadays, ordinary people would behave differently - but who knows.

Wow, so extremely sad to see this footage sourced from my own country, luckily we have come an extremely long way since then, treating these animals with the upmost respect.

To be fair, this was a long time ago. The shark was dead, fouled in a fisherman's butterfish net and dragged back to the wharf. It was/is not an area associated with large numbers of Whites so a very rare accidental catch.
