At least that's what I think it is - JSD?
This was clearly a very close call - and a BIG Shark!.
But such is Le Didier - I'm not at liberty to tell quite yet: but after those Crocs, he's certainly found himself a new worthy adversary that will make you S your pants once you see the footage!
Ils sont fous ces Gaulois!
Anyway, enjoy!

Mon dieu.
Most likely Galapagos/dusky in the earlier part - yikes!! - but spinners also (note the more flattened, pointed snout and the lower lobe of the caudal fin at 47 secs.
Yup - and I trust you know that the Dusky is no more - or is the Galapagos?
But I beg to differ on the other Shark!
Spinner is C. brevipinna - these I believe are Blacktips C. limbatus, because of the pointy/stripey look!
I didn't know that it is now either the Duskapagos or Galapusky shark, so that makes the ID task superficially easier. Though how you tell a Duskapagos shark from the Galapusky I hate to think.
I looked again at the shark with the black tip and agree it's more likely to be limbatus than brevipinna though other possibilites are limpinna or brevibatus .
But I still say the French are crazy.
Aint taxonomy fun - and it's so easy, too!
