And if that didn't convince...

I vaguely remember Hass (or was it Cousteau?) claiming to have been chased out of the water by a GWS at Sanganeb... but that was a looong looong time ago...
Anyway, the literature appears rather reticent about them being in the Red Sea - but the pics look rather conclusive to me!
Maybe a juvenile/subadult straggler from the Med?
Hass indeed claimed this. But if you combine the hyperbole of his other shark encounters there with the thousands of subsequent divers who have never seen a GWS in the entire Red Sea, I think a certain skepticism is in order...
