The camera not being on the shark probably makes it seem more sinister than it actually was , either way, it's awesome.

The gws was clearly trying to eat something...
Hard to tell if it was sneaking up from behind as there was also the cameraman and the person who pushed it out -- they might have been facing the shark when it came in.
Ummm, they bait those cages with whole 30lb tuna carcass underneath, so the animals have come accustomed to nibbling around the bars.
There's a plethora of alt vids showing the animals being baited in this manner with NEX Operations.
