Here comes Taryn!

 

Behold!

This is she.

This tiny subadult female Bull Shark has been around for a while, but I've only now managed to get a somewhat decent picture today. She's a tad shy yet inquisitive, and generally very sweet. We've named her after Taryn Naggs, the lady who made that amazing donation to the AABS fundraiser - and this not because of the fundraiser but because everybody here at BAD likes her very much!

Case in point, the nomination comes from none other than Rusi - and lemme tell 'ya, that man is neither easily befriended nor impressed!

May they, the shark and the human, grace us with their presence for many years to come!

Finally!

Taryn has made her choice.

The little feisty Shark's name is inspired by Rome's Titus Pullo, depicted above - and I must admit that once one looks at the profile with that pointy nose, there really is an eerie resemblance to a passionate Shark diver who just so happens to be Taryn's current side kick and a pal of yours truly! He may not be small but he's certainly as feisty!

Gabe - any guesses? :)

Taryn has won the week of diving!

And not only that - far from donating the minimal amount, she is making the highest of all donations and as a consequence, she's also going to be naming this lil fella whilst earning a grand total of 10 full days of diving with us! Betcha that I already know the name she's gonna choose, and betcha that she plans to turn the prize into a 5-day dive vacation for two - and if so and because this is simply epic, we're adding 4 days and converting it into one full week for two!
Because we can! :)
