It's funny how now lots of people are against cage diving and shark tourism in general and not only against Nautilus (and Mike) as the "smirking competitors" wanted... That's why blogs like this one are so relevant! It makes people think. Thing is, over the past 4 years or so there has been an influx of smaller Sharks and it looks like the industry may have been slow to react.

And then there's the conundrum of trying to please DaSharkhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06787762757245289307noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-36324352.post-91626166059027829552019-12-12T13:07:17.007+13:002019-12-12T13:07:17.007+13:00Haven't chimed in in a while as I've kind ...Haven't chimed in in a while as I've kind of stepped back from the industry for a bit after 13 years in Northern CA. Better bait handling protocol has been something needed for a long time regardless of cage opening sizes. Smaller openings in the cages or better bait handling. One or both. Take away the bait and opening sizes will become mostly irrelevant. Thank you for it's coinage. Side note- The championing of only "cage-less" shark diving being "ethical/safe for sharks" is clearly a sly plan for Ocean and her followers to find a way to legitimize their open-water shark molest-fests.
